Hi there,
I'm new to this forum and pc upgrading as well. I have an intel D845GBV board with an integrated video controller. I want to add 512 MB memory and a real video card. I found the following on newegg.com:
- Crucial 184 Pin 512MB DDR PC-2100 - OEM
- SAPPHIRE ATI RADEON 9200 Video Card, 256MB DDR, 128-bit, TV-Out, 8X AGP -OEM
Do you foresee any compatibility issues? From what I can gather from the mobo manual, there shouldn't be any, but I thought I'd check anyway. Also, if you have better suggestions for these two components for around $80 each, I'm all ears.
Thanks,

Actually, according to my system information, my board is actually the intel D845GBV2, if that matters.

Actually, you've made some good choices, they should be fine. Good luck mate!

maybe get a the 128mb version of the 9200 instead becuase its cheaper and i dont really think a 9200 can properly utilise that much memory

a 9200 can't keep up with 64MB!!!!

Get the 128 man, it will help out with ressies larger than 1024x768
