add '[H]|M' to this psd file

I'm looking for some help. I'm wanting to put '[H]|M' or [H]ard|Military (whichever looks best) using the dark green of the backpack, on the bandana in this pic...but I can't get it to get it to look right with the curve. can anyone help me out? either tell me how to..or just do a quick edit..
