Add a DSL line

Looking for some help on adding a dsl line to this interface box, new house has on jack in kitchen and one is what's going to be daughters room, would like to hardwire in another line for my DSL modem, which will be living in the garage with a router.

You would pretty much need to run a line(cat5e) from that NID to your garage. The rest depends on if it's going to be a shared line with POTs service or just a dry dsl loop and if you have an alarm system (It currently looks like its wired for the alarm system). Is this going to be a self install or is a tech from the phone company coming out? Just have the tech run the line if they're coming out!

Yes there is an alarm, do plan inactivating it though as my 180lb mastiff does a great job! Lol.

I would be fine with it being just DSL.

Was hoping on doing it myself but of it's easier to drop the $99 than that is what I will do.

How fancy do you want to get?
You could get a whole house filter that installs in the NID.
Something like... Antec NID Splitter / ADSL POTS Splitter LPF-200
or Amazon.com: Tii 95s-1-12 Whole House Nid Dsl Filter Adsl Pots: Computers & Accessories
Find one that will fit properly in your NID.

Wire it to that top spot on the NID, and connect the existing IW to the filter.
Then connect a new CAT5 homerun to the top spot.
