Ok Stupid question..

Planning up a new office we are planning and want to setup sites and services. All I want to know is the basics at this point.

If one site fails (Multiple DC Fails), but there is still connectivity to the other sites will everyone still be able to function (IE, Authentication, DFS, etc)?

Nice stuff to know. I'll get to put it in to play in the next 4 months

May not be an issue, but the performance can be depend on your links. I think MS has a page/tool for the different AD activities & how much bandwidth it uses.

DHCP will still have to be up at the site. Also, DNS must be reachable, it can be a DNS server at another location set as secondary, tertiary, or quaternary DNS server in DHCP.
