Hey thanks! I didn't know they had that sort of problem. The hinges have seemed questionable (loose and junky) so I have been expecting screen problems, just not cable related screen problems. If the cable breaks and I can't find a replacement when it does I'll just get another piece of junk from Craigslist, Ebay, or CedarPC...though I might plug it into an external screen or use it as a headless backup repository with VNC or something since it has enough space to store pretty much everything I care about since it has an 80 GB HDD instead of the 6 GB it shipped with.
