Acer Travelmate w/ x700 under $1000 (refurbished)

Brand new one is about $1100 from Newegg. Not a bad price considering it has an x700 in it.

Well, first of all, the difference between the two is almost $300, and considering that the Newegg refurb has those specs for under $1000 sems pretty nice to me. The only thing is, do you get all of the accesories/manuels/cables etc. with the first Acer? If not, it makes it a bit less of a deal. Still, Acer makes nice laptops, nice find.

That's a damn good deal too, but I posted this because you won't find a laptop anywhere else with an x700 under $1000.

i wouldn call this a good deal...

if you notice, its an OEM barebone refurb (duh), but there is a chance that it wont come with any of the accesories including the battery...

charger = $50
battery = $100+

then whatever else could be wrong or missing. and a bigger chance with warranty and so fourth...


i wouldnt risk it to save $200
