Hello. My monitor Acer Predator XB271HUAB. I have this monitor 7 months. Yesterday after quitting game i saw this and its appearing on monitor now:

I have 2080 Ti Waterforce Xtreme,this is not issue with GPU. I checked on google and somebody with the same monitor have the same issue.

I tried removing by finger,and its not a dirt,debris etc. It looking like some kind of water leak. But like i said i dont touch monitor screen,not cleaning etc,nothing.



Its barely noticable when i am playing but still appearing.
 
It's delamination. The polarizer is separating from the LCD. Definitely RMA it.

Could be a bad batch with poorly applied adhesive or maybe it's humid where you live. Regardless, this shouldn't happen, especially not in 7 months.
 
I left screen on grey <full screen> for few hours, i think it dissapeared.
 
Well, if it bothers you, don't hesitate to RMA if it reveals itself again. This isn't normal.
 
Ok guys. I will think about rma before sell. But i want buy new monitor. I will loan cash from bank. I am playing on 2080 Ti Wateforce Xtreme.
I prefer 1440P resolution because on 4k 1440P will look too blurry.
What monitor good monitor with GSYNC ( TN or IPS? ) 27inch 1400P 144hz will be good? Not again Acer.

Maybe Aorus?
 
Hey i left on fullscreen some IPS GLOW /BAD PIXEL 2hour fix test in youtube for my TN panel Acer. I think it dissapeared after 2 hours in test. weird,still rma?
 
Hey guys last question and we can close topic. My previous monitor that ACER, get broken because just MONITOR,or it was related to hardware? But on new display AORUS AD27QD its fine now.
 
Hey. I sold monitor to other person, but with cheapest prize with defect ( i note that ). And new buyer said that he didnt see an defect. So whats going on?
Display just rest or something?


But on new display i dont have any smudge so its not hardware of my pc.
