After the BenQ BL3200PT, there's now a new 32" 1440p screen on the market, the Acer B326HUL.

-Acer website:

http://us.acer.com/ac/en/US/content/professional-model/UM.JB6AA.001

-Amazon page:

http://www.amazon.com/Acer-B326HUL-ymiidphz-32-inch-Widescreen/dp/B00JB6HE62

It's very similar to the BenQ BL3200PT with some minor differences:

I found a (Hungarian) review of it too. Use Google to translate:

Looks like the BenQ BL3200PT is the better deal.

It appears to be even more laggy than the BenQ, which is already too laggy for gaming purposes. :(

The acer site says the power is below 45w. The benq site says around 90watt. How does that work? Brighter upper limit for benq leds?

Or someone reporting power usage at average brightness, another one - at maximum. Anyway, one should rather trust numbers from actual reviews, not ones that some manufacturers may game with. I highly doubt for difference to be more then 10-20% for displays made of same panel.

Looked to me like Benq was already pushing the envelope and giving more acceleration to their AMA Premium mode than usual. Slight bit of overshoot, but not enough to complain about. The Acer will vary in that way, and probably it is slower.

So i tested yesterday the Acer B326HULymiidphz, thought maybe there is a new charge, but it has the same problem like the Benq BL3200PT. Extrem Flicker and Flash problem, because you cannot disable the overdrive. On the Benq 32" you have some options to reduce it. I made also videos.

Came across this after I purchased the ACER. Will have my hands on it Monday. ACER currently is selling refurbished version for $399. http://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/ol/B00JB6HE62/ref=mw_dp_olp?ie=UTF8&condition=all

Really torn here. This monitors seems to be the perfect size. It offers great screen real estate while offering the same pixel density as a 24" 1080p monitor. Ideally I would buy a 34" 3440x1440 curved monitor, but I can't bring my self to sink 1k into a monitor right now.

Is that flicker problem something that everyone notices? I will be using this as my monitor at home. So shouldn't really ever use it for more Than 3-4hrs at a time.

I went with this over the 32" hp envy that is only $80 more brand new. Is the HP any better?

Just got this in and I'm really disappointed.

The color shifts dramatically just looking at it. I'm typing on it as we speak and the color fads from gray to dark gray back to gray on [H].

Going back...
