Acer AL2223WD - is this ok for CAD work?

I'm asking this for a friend, he needs a new monitor and he's looking at the 22" Acer AL2223WD that's on sale at Best Buy tomorrow. He is learning CAD (which I know nothing about), will this monitor ok for that? This will be his only monitor so he will be using it for internet surfing and stuff as well.

Any advice would greatly appreciated :)
