Hand slipped when I popped off the protective cover and crushed a bunch of pins on the 775 socket. This was my second motherboard after getting a defective board, didn't want to wait so I used a pick and bent all 20 pins back. I tried to take pictures but it was at 5 am and my macro wasn't on /facepalm.

Any dangers I should be aware of? It seems to be running fine.

If you bent them back into position, none of them broke, and it works fine, I don't see what the problem is...

hes worried its going to stop working or damage his CPU I bet.

Since its working I dont think theres much to worry about.

i bent ~100 on an old 939 its still working 2 years later so i wouldn't worry

If it works, it works.
Worst case is if a leg has fractured and breaks when you remove the chip again.
I've never had this happen in 22 years of building PCs despite fixing many a squashed chip.
As long as you take it careful moving it again, it should be fine.
