Doesn't plextor put their own bios on the outsourced drives?

Half of the plextor magic is in the bios anyways. :)

Is true. I fell in love with the Gigarec option.
 
I can say after using my Plextor 716AL for the past couple weeks... that I WILL NEVER go back to trays again! TRAYS BE DAMNED! The burning & ripping has been flawless so far also.

Lite-On is cheaper though. Can you be specific on why BenQ and NEC are better now? More coasters with Lite-On? Drive failure?..
