I'm helping my friend Oc his CPU only in his new rig.

Hes running an Asus A8N-Deluxe sli mobo
a 3200+ venice (1.45V, 10x, 2.0ghz stock)
Corsair value select 2x1gb sticks

I've been researching/reading his manual for his mobo and Ocing his Cpu with stock HSF should be pretty easy.

I'm hoping for 240mhz HTT bus for a 2.4ghz clock.
I want to keep the memory at 200mhz and not fool with its timings. (the manual says it has a maxfrequency for memory and setting it to 200mhz should work just find and auto on the rest of cas/timing options.

WHat would you advise as a voltage for the CPU to to reach 2.4ghz? 1.55? 1.6V? I'll have him prime95 to check for lowest stable voltage after he reachers 2.4ghz.

Will I need to up the chipset V any for 240FSB?

ANd I won't have trouble with memory dividers or anything right?

thanks.

you'll probably hit 2400 at 1.45V or so. My cousins week 16 3200+ hit 2.6 at 1.55V, and we ended up staying at 2.5 @ 1.5V.

I got to just over 2400 (2430ish) on stock voltage, but yrmv. I'd say 1.41-1.45 vcore should be plenty, unless its a dud and 2.4-2.5 is the chips max. On a 240htt, a 166 mem divider will get you back to 200mhz on ram.

On my A8N SLI Premium I was able to hit 2.5 @ 1.45 just fine.

I was able to do 2.4 without even messing with memory timings. It wasn't until I took my FSB to 260 that I even had to bother with memory timings to get it stable. Liek they mentioned above, YMMV but I don't think you probably won't have to mess with voltage to get to 2.4.
