A7N8X problem (sorry)

Didn't get much help in the A7N8X forum.

MOBO is being a bitch. I switch the the power on and I get this ringing from my PSU. So I switch PSU's and in the next one I get this ticking like a bomb is going to explode. None of the MOBO's green lights are lit, so I assume my MOBO is gone. Am I right in assuming this?

So I want to RMA it, but, I'll now have to take my 3200+ off, and the heatsink is going to be a bitch. Now I have to reapply the thermal bond to put the heatsink back on my new MOBO?



Advice? Suggestions?

Ringing is possible from a PSU. Coils make noise. As far as ticking, I don't know unless it's some sort of relay. Since you have not provided much information, all I can tell you is that it may be the motherboard, it may not.
