is it worth it? microcenter has with with a mainboard for 150 http://www.microcenter.com/product/403601/GA-F2A55M-HD2_Socket_FM2_A55_mATX_AMD_Motherboard

i was going to go with a FX 6300 with a 4850 i have laying around, but i was trying to keep to on low power usage, and also all my wife plays is second life so i don't think it really needs a heavy graphics card.

the on board gpu is 1080p capable at medium settings in bf4 and metro last light. crysis 3 requires low settings. older titles like the deadspace franchise can be maxed out at 1080p. hope that helps.

I'd go with the APU, over a 4850, unless you need a strong processor for anything.

Yes, absolutely! Now, I just have to make a 6 hour round trip myself to the Northeastern Ohio Microcenter.
