Would I be better off buying this for Xbox 360 or PlayStation3? Keep in mind I don't have a Live gold account because I don't play online on a regular enough basis; however, I would like to play online a little bit if I get this game. I guess the main deciding factor is the controls and difference, if any, in graphics/performance.
 
Other than motorstorm (came with my ps3) its the only PS3 game I have and I love it. Great game and fun online play. No problems with the controls. There is aim assist you can turn on it you like.
 
I have both a PS3 and a 360...lately I have been renting both versions of certain games to test out the differences (but not COD4 yet) and I find shooters like that work better with the 360 controller. In fact now that I think about it...everything seems to work better with the 360 controller but that could just be my personal preference.
 
It's the only game I've bought for the PS3, and it is totally worth every penny. Get it!
