A new way to cut your case

I wonder if it's a nice clean cut...?

Or a cut similar to tin snips...

**EDIT** Hmm... seems to pinch one side up, while having a clean cut on the other...

Why not just get a real set of power nibblers?

Hmm, might be nice if it didn't ruin the other half of whatever you cut.

I assume it's cheaper?
A cheap chinese shear is only $40 and will cut up to 14 gauge steel. The "Turbo Shear" will only do 20 gauge and is the same price. Even there heavy duty version only cuts 18 gauge for $30 more. If your doing any kind of real work with steel the regular version wont be enough.

Yeah, pretty sure the metal I was cutting for my first window was at least 20 gauge steel, maybe even 18 gauge (it was thick, I know that for sure!!), and doing it with a hand nibbler was a 3-day on and off chore!!

I agree that a power cutter like this one from Harbor Freight, with it's 14-gauge capability, might be a better buy. Either way, make certain you're wearing gloves whenever you're cutting metal with any power tool. Those sharp edges will rip a palm open quick!!

Thanks for the info, tho! Interesting tool, especially taking the rotary motion of a drill and converting it to a more axial cutting motion! :)
