Any working hardware is worth something to someone. Definitely don't throw them away.

And just briefly looking at the specs these are still very capable--can even have 10Gb uplinks.

Seems like they have an 'enhanced limited lifetime warranty' whatever that means. Sound almost like an upwardly downward sideways thing.
