Results: B580 over a broader sample of games doesn't fair as well

Value isn't quite as good as initially thought, need a high-end CPU due to overhead issues

Native vs upscaling shows it's most likely driver related that limits upscaled performance. Looks perfectly fine with a Ryzen 5 5600 against an RTX 4060 and RX 7600 at native 1440P.

I am really curious on whether this is related to the rebar issue - if the extra overhead is being caused by the cpu doing stuff in video memory, there may not be much improvement that can be made with driver updates.

Imo it remains a good value proposition at 1440p, with the obvious caveats. Especially the one about price really needing to be as much lower as the msrp's suggest. I'd take the b580 + 5700x3d over an rtx4060 + 5600 any day.

Its competition could quickly be a 9060 more than a 7600.... the gap with the current $250 AMD 7600 is already quite slime on a typical for that price range CPU.

Disappointing to see because the customer for this card is not a 9800x3D customer, it's more likely someone who wants to breathe some life into an older PC or is buying a CPU like the 5600 or 7600. Hopefully this is fixable in future driver updates.
