9800pro 128 or wait for next gen?

Heres my dilemma. Im building a cheapo game box (mobile athlon 2500, 512, nf7s etc etc), and need a video card.

Im set on the sapphire 9800pro, which I can currently get for $290 CAD. However, if I wait until the next gen of NV40/Rwhatever, the price will drop. But will it be a long time?

My timeframe is late april though, because no computer building or playing time during exams.

that doesn't make any sense, what else would be doing during exams besides gaming?

heh that's the same question i'm sitting here asking myself... just sold my 9500np (no mod) and i'm debating buying now or later.
I don't think we'll see anything new until late summer tho since i think vid card manufacturers have gone back to a 12 month cycle again...
