9800GTX AMP to HD4870 Crossfire - cheap upgrade!

So I've been wanting to upgrade my video card for a while, and finally decided to do so when I came across a really good deal on 2x4870's.

I ended up paying a total of $180 for the two cards and should have them in a week or so.

I've spent a little time trying to calculate the performance increase I'll see, and pegged it to be at 25% better at the low end, and as high as 35%. (The Zotac 9800GTX AMP is a little faster than most 9800GTX+)

I play BF2, COD4, COD:WaW, Wow (only every once in a while, promise) Borderlands, TF2, L4D, and many many more. Those are just the big ones. I'm expecting to see something closer to the 35% in these games.
 
So when I do this, I'll be using Drivercleaner (or similar program) to clean out the Nvidia drivers completely then go install the latest Catalyst. That should help me to avoid any problems.

Any other suggestions?
 
That should do it. I have done it before without issues, in fact I exchange a 8600gt with a 4890 recently and it is working great so far.
