8800GT to 4850 worth it?

Would I see a big performance boost in switching from my evga 8800GT SSC to the new ati 4850?

Probably not with an OC'd 8800GT. But wait a few days for the dust to settle and more comprehensive reviews to come out. The AA and AF performance at high res for the 4850 has seemed spectacular in a lot of the reviews in comparison to the 9800GTX so if you're in need of high res + AA + AF or have a CF board and are thinking about it, then wait a few days (im sure by June 25th, all the info will be spilled) and make your decision. Besides, prices are only likely to go down so it'll be a win-win

I would wait for the [H] review before throwing down any cash because it seems that a lot of sites have conflicting info.
