New build, have both coolers already, looking for feedback to make the best choice before I put it all together

As the title states, which do you feel would be better? Will be delidding the 8700K and reapplying paste.. Hope is to OC to 4.8 all cores. Have a massive case so fit for either is of no concern

The Noctua D15 hasn't been used since I had it on an OC'ed 5930 at 4.2 and it kept it at around 70ish when running 100%

The 3.0 AIO is on a 6700k system OC'ed to 4.7 and I rarely see it over 65 running 100%. Concern here is the extra cores on the 8700K

If you are actually using one of these coolers on an 8700K please chime in with your experience so far

Thanks

I have a D-15S on a 8700k at 4.8 all core and -2 avx offset, no delid.

Full stress benchmarks and burn-ins will hit the 70s. Gaming, compiling, compressing, etc all stays at 60 or below.

3.0 AIO is about 3.5-4.5c cooler out of the box, but only because it's fans move more air through radiator .. which also makes more noise .. like almost 6 times a loud at 40db versus D15 at 25db. Stock testing 3.0 to be 3.5-4c cooler than D15.

I have not tried high performance fans on D15 but on D14 with Thermalright TY-143 2500rpm, 138cfm fans temps were 8.5-9.5c lower. Silver Arrow SB-E and IB-E both give similar improvement with 2500rpm versus 1300rpm fans making about 40dB of noise.
