[802.11n]Where is it?

Sorry if this has been asked a lot, but search is being difficult on this one.

I know this standard was announed many months ago, but when is it finally going to come out?

Your misinformed. They just now have agreed on a solution by tGN Sync. Still alot of work to be done before you get a certification on the standard. They haven't even gotten the 75% vote needed for that next step. After that THEN the testing begins. Your looking at late summer at the VERY earliest. I'd expect hardware by Xmas that has the .11n certified sticker on it. Look into google and use 802.11n ratification.

Long story short, no standard was announced months ago. Many months TO go before any standard is announced.

I think some companies are already releasing hardware that supports 802.11n but it's based off the projected standard not the final official one, so I would avoid those.
