So I bought a 7900GT KO edition from EVGA. (Actually from Monarch).
The KO adds a nicer cooler seen here:
My system was running hotter than I like
Plus it had a slight Humm and loud spin up fan noise when booting up.
It's all stuffed inside a TJ08 case.
Anyways I didn't like the temps and wanted them cooler.
So I though buying a NV6Rev2 and pushing the air out the back would help my situation.
Installation.
First I had to go find me some Ram sinks since the NV6 cooler didn't cover that area on the card.
I opened the package and inspected the cooler.
I cleaned the goop off of the GPU and slapped on the Ram Heatsinks from an older Zalman install:
And the Finished View:
So after installation my temps dropped off slightly. And the sound was much better. Err Quieter.
