I'm running a Abit KN8 SLI;

With (x2) Evga 7900GT KO Superclock cards;

I wanted to know if I can fit in on both cards, the Zalman VF900-Cu?

This seems like a tight fit, and below the bottom card I have a X-Fi XtremeMusic, so I'm wondering also with the tighter fit next to this card if there is going to be to much heat getting dumped on the soundcard.

The problem is these KO cards idle and game pretty hot. 60c idle and gaming at 80c, and those are night time temps in my room at 74F, and since I live in Hawaii, I'd hate to think what gaming would be like in the day time with the room temps more at 84F, 10 degrees hotter. I'm sure then the top card would be hitting around 85c-88c.

Also on the 7900GT KO Superclock I forgot what the fan plug looks like, but the Zalman seems to be 3 pin, will this plug into the card to get it's power? I don't have any extra fan pins on the motherboard to use.

watercooling, my friend. especially with those high temps. and all that water around you! :D

there should be a molex->3pin fan connector, or with nice psus, a dedicated 3-pin for the cpu. but some motherboards don't like it if you don't have a fan plugged into the cpu fan header.

and your video cards would be using the 6-pin pcie power connectors, so can't you just plug the Zalmans into the respective video card?

Evga mod told me this:

The cards won't fry until you get over 130C (266F). Again... again... your cards are fine under 90C.

Also the Zalman has a 3 pin on it, I don't think the Evga 7900GT KO Superclock has a 3 pin.

Here's the Zalman connector;

I don't like Watercooling, I think it's going backwards in technology, there are other alternatives to cooling with different mediums rather then liquid.
