7800GTX256 and 1600x1200 in BF2

Ok I have a 7800GTX 256 and am currently looking to buy a new monitor. Been looking at the Samsung 204B with 1600x1200 native resolution.

Will I have a problem using this monitor at that resolution in BF2? Not going to buy it if I can't run BF2 with at least medium seetings, Which I run now for better performance.

Done searches, couldn't find what I was looking for.

Specs are

AMD 64 4000+
2gig dual channel patriot ram
1-7800GTX 256
550w ps
Raid HD's
XFi-Fatality sound card

my 7600gt can play bf2 on 1600x1200 fine..... i think thats saying something

You will be more than capable of playing BF2 at high quality settings and 1600x1200 res with 2Gb of memory, a A64 4000, and a 7800GTX 256MB card. No question about it.

set the dynamic options to medium and everything else high

use all of the optimizations in the control panel

you may want to try the difference between supersampling and multisampling with "transparancy anti-aliasing" Super sampling is not as demanding.
