only benefit of flashing up to gtx would be clock speed and possibly mem/core voltage. pipes are hard closed by nvidia, or thats what the current legend says.

It made me look :D I forget how many bungholio marks I was getting, but I need to re-bunghole this box now that it's 140mhz faster.


Personally I don't think I would take a chance flashing a $350-$400 vid card.....could end up being a lot cheaper to just sell it at a loss of a few bucks and buy the real thing.
 
righty right, and if you bought an evga, you could use the trade up program, get full value for your gt, keep the evga sli mainboard that you got free with the gt, add about 100 bux and get 1 top of the line gtx.
or two, even.

i'm guessing the main problem is people disable sig's entirely so they dont have to see blatant e-pnus waving. so when perp copies and pastes his inflated 3Dmark score into every single post for whatever reason, it circumvents that.

I disabled sigs about 2 weeks ago, I got tired of seeing stupid pointless ones... Then when I make a sig like its sospouse to be. Full semi-detailed specs of my rig, peopel think its some kind of EPenis thing...
