Ok, I have a 6800gt that I have had for months, I have had nothing but stuttering.
The now becoming famous stutter as noted in just a fraction of threads:

I have tried everything to try to stop it, and it just won't.
I seriously think it is a hardware problem between the nf3 and 6800gt.
What I want to let you know that this combination was horrible for me compared to the x800pro. It was fast as shit, but just stuttered taking all of the reality out of the game. The x800pro plays every game that I had problems smooth as butter. The only setback that I have seen is not being able to play doom3 @ ultra high, which was borderline on the 6800gt, but playable.
Lastly, AA. I don't care what anyone says. Image shots seem to show them pretty equal, but in game, 4xAA on the x800 is still unbeatable. A couple of times when playing on the 6800gt I actually had to drop to desktop just to make sure that I had it because of the jaggies.
This is not saying that the 6800gt is a bad card, it's actually an awesome card and I think that it would put the x800pro to shame on other systems. But just not mine, and many others with the nf3 chipset.
Just a heads up for you guys thinking about your upgrade paths. I'm going to hold onto the 6800gt until there is a fix out. It plays nice on my nf2 system. Just doesn't push the frames like the a64 system.
I love the hell out of my 6800gt, but it's going to have to take a back seat for a while.
I hope this helps you guys out. Now, off to change the sig.
