Very little known on 6700 cards yet.
Since almost all discussion is about the 6800 & 6900, I created this thread for speculation, rumors, and crumbs of info specific to 6700.

They're based on navi 22 gpu, rumored to have 12gb gddr6 memory.
wccftech posted speculation that there will be two 6700 cards.
Love to find out TDP, card size, guesses on release date etc...

at least 2Ghz, probably more, possibly much more
12GB GDDR6 on 192bit bus
2-fan reference design, much smaller than 6800/6900
6700XT probably between 2080S and 2080Ti
6700 probably around 2080S
no idea on power, likely 200-225W for 6700XT and 175-200W for 6700

PS5 is 36CU, which is half a 6800XT. And 2.23ghz sustained boost. I would expect at least that as starting spec for a 67** card.

The 6800 is shown to be faster then the 2080 Ti / 3070 from AMD's bench marks . so they would need to fit above RX 5700 XT/2070 super to 2080 Ti

$275 for 6700; $350 for 6700xt.

192 bit very likely, 12GB, possibly 6GB for the 6700.

AMD is really going to eat nVidias lunch in this price point with its infinity fabric. Nvidia will probably use ga106, likely 6 GB and bandwidth starved unless they use gddr6x. Once production costs goes down, nvidia may offer a cut down ga104 to compete.

I see the 6700 series as the next Polaris it that it will be the go to midrange card for the next 2-3 years. RX 470 4GB to RX 590 8 GB then 6700 6 GB to 7700xt 12 GB now.

I saw an article the other day that the RTX 3060 could be released mid-November.

I hope that's true so AMD will release the mid-range 6700 and 6600 cards sooner.
I really don't need to spend $500-600 on gpu for my wife's computer. Sure it'd be nice, but I doubt she'd notice the difference between a 6700 and 6800 since we really don't play demanding games.

Not sure how a $350 6700XT would make sense... seeing that the 6800 is $579. That's quite a huge hole in the product lineup.

It would make more sense to it the $499 and $399 price points. Then the 6600 series can cover the $249/$299 area. And finally the 6500 series can cover the $149/$199 area.

For some reason when talking about AMD people just feel like AMD should price lower than anything any other company would charge. It's an unrealistic expectation for some reason. The 6700xt will probably be as fast as the 3070 and will/should be priced appropriately. 6700 will be slightly slower and should be slightly cheaper.

This is what I foresee:

3070 - $499
6700XT - $499

3060 Ti - $399
6700 - $399

3060 - $349 (unless Nvidia stops being greedy and prices it at $299 where it should be)
6600XT - $349
6600 - $299

3050 Ti - $249
6500XT - $249

6500 - $199
3050 - $199

Personally I'm hoping to spend no more than $299, so if Nvidia remains greedy as usual, I'm not giving them that extra $30 and AMD gets my money. I'm sure they'll be quite comparable in performance. Wouldn't be surprised if the 3060 came with 6GB vs 6700's 8GB.

Looks like that isn't happening!

I hope there's a 75W or 100W card in there.
