Computer crashes whenever HDMI is unplugged or input is changed on reciever.

i noticed this when changing between inputs that my pc would be in mid reboot by the time i saw anything on my tv. when w7 got back to the desktop it had recovered from a crash and when i expand the message before sending it stated it was a memory dump. so i then reached behind my reciever and pulled the hdmi cable out while my pc was up and at the desktop. BOOM instant crash and reboot. i just upgraded from a 4550 to the 5750 so i am almost certain this is a driver thing. praying its not hardware related.

Motherboard : Asus P7P55D
Proc : Intel Core i5
Memory : G.Skill 4GB (two sticks) PC 1600
Gfx card: Asus Radeon HD 5750
PSU: OCZ ModXStream Pro OCZ700MXSP 700W
OS: Windows 7 32bit
running through a onkyo 806
driver: tried 9.11 and the ones on the disk. also did 32 and 64 bit.

i pasted this on ati and avsforms but i am going back to the trust [H] for some help. would getting a sound card help? this is mostly used for an htpc at the moment but i hope to play some games soon on it.

thanks in advance.

Try the hemlock beta 5 drivers. I had better stability with those when I had my 5750's.
