Why not? can Geil Value Series 184 Pin 512MB DDR PC-3200?

FWIW, I tried this RAM in my previous system and it didnt O/C worth a sh*t.

again, for what its worth...

I've had negative experiences with Geil also. With just my cas2 OCZ installed, I can OC my 1.6A up to 2.4, no problem. When I added a Geil cas2 stick from Newegg, I couldn't OC higher than 1.7. Sent that one back, tried another stick of the same type, but got the same problem, no OC. For the hell of it, I tried the Geil by itself, and still could only get 1.7. So, sent that one back also.

True it might not overclock worth a damn, but its the cheapest ram I can find thats pc3200. Why we may not want it for our personal rigs, it does fine for those say with intel boards + no overclocking or for family machines or machines where overclocking is minimal or non existant.

You get what you pay for in RAM, don't skimp on ram or you get an unstable system. Get crucial, corsair, or kingston. Worth every penny.

You been warned.
