5 free HD-DVD MIR Offer, Got it?

I finally got mine a few days back... I got Troy, The Departed, The Italian Job, SwordFish and The Big Lebowski.... I'm not sure what I ordered, but I know for a fact I did not order Troy or The Big Lebowski.

As for their condition, they were all sealed and appear to be in fine condition. But I've only watched SwordFish thus far (which played without a hitch), and I did not on one of the cases the "UPC soldering iron burn"...

Only one of the movies i got was on the list to select (The Italian Job). So wanted to see Halle Berry's boob's in HD.
 
I don't even remember what I chose, I think I got 2 or 3 of the ones I picked though...

Still... 6 HD movies and an HD-DVD player (external USB drive as well) for $50 is win :D

Departed is pretty sweet, I've already seen it on DVD so HD-DVD should look even bettah

I submitted my MIR the week the Xbox 360 HD-DVD drives went on sale for $50 (And you had 3-4 days to get in on the offer) and they showed up today...

Crappiest list ive ever seen. Guy a work with sent his same day and got his back on same day as me getting everything he requested. I see some are getting 12 monkeys and departed or Serenity on avs forums. Wish i got one movie i wanted to see. Glad i kept my hd player to play SD movies though as i will never watch any of the movies i got.

i have the walmart A2 which was 100 bucks + 5 crappy movies so its an ok deal for a good upconverting dvd player at best. Should have taken it back to walmart when i could and looked for a cheaper player.

I didn't read the instructions to only choose one movie per group and had to resend. I did finally recieve the movies I ordered.
 
I sent mine off at the end of Fedruary and got the movies today.

The only two movies I actually wanted were Pitch Black and Full Metal Jacket, and those are the two I didn't get. :( Oh, well. Free is free.

Yes- There is a 1-800 number on the rebate form. Call the number and give them your zip code and last name.

I did today and they stated my discs are due to go out "any week" now.

Just got mine (3rd set of 5) today... and not a single one was part of my original picks. At least they only sent one that I already owned.
 
Called today again and they at least stated my order shipped out on May 28th... but get this... shipping may take 4 weeks!

The only doubles I have are King Kong and Sleepy Hollow(which I think was a neat movie). I'd be amazed if they could possibly send something slower than the shirts from woot. lol

Yeah I sent in my form on 3/1/08 and I received mine last week.. Was shipped USPS Media Mail so who knows how long it was out there...

Really wanted Full Metal Jacket and Miami Vice is dumb as shit, those are my only two "complaints", but free is free so whatever.

Got 1 of my 2 sets today. All but 1 were ones I didn't ask for, but I guess at least they showed up. I got a card from the rebate place saying my other one wouldn't ship til around September :confused::eek:
