4tb 99 bucks platter drive

Nothing wrong with platter for storage. Is there an additional promo code because I am seeing $109.
 
Hehe, went to the link and saw the popup to enter my zipcode to check local availability. So I entered my downtown Chicago home zip and among the options that came up was "Store Pickup: Order NOW to pickup Today in San Jose, CA". Umm, OK, think I'll pass on that option. Still, free shipping is an offer so that's cool. Think I'll check out MicroCenter since they've got an outlet pretty close by (Fry's is way out in the 'burbs). $99 is a great price for 4 TB, regardless.

$99 (with promo code) is a good deal. Same part number (0S04005) are around $130 or so at Egg and Amazon. That said, customer reviews at aforementioned vendors state various noise issues with these particular drives. So do your leg work and choose accordingly.
 
I've been looking for a deal on decent spinner for backup, this looked like it fit the bill. But FYI for anyone that doesn't have a Fry's nearby: the code worked for me, but now it says shipping is not available. :( Guess I'll keep looking.
