4k semi-gloss vs 1440 gloss?

If both are ~27", which will have sharper text? I had a 4k for a short time, but I didn't compare it well to my glossy. I think the 4k was slightly worse?

Can anyone tell me? :)
 
I've compared text quality of my friend's 27QW/Sakwa vs. my BL3201PH (nearly grain-free matte), and found the latter to offer sharper text. I'd imagine with scaling anyway, the 27" 4k would still appear sharper.

HP has their new Spectre 32, which appears to use the same panel as the BenQ but with HP's custom low-haze semi-glossy coating. It hasn't been reviewed yet though, so we don't know if it uses PWM etc.

Buy one and test it for us. :p
