Showing "$44.99" for me

I also have this ram. bought 4 kits when it was $40 a pop for my X79 build :D

still running strong with those 7-8-8-20-1t timings I had listed in that thread. would definitely recommend.

Need to select 1x4gb.

Not a bad price, but I think my $30 3x4gb Patriot Sector 7 was a better deal :D (Fry's occasionally has good sales O: )

Need to select 1x4gb.

Newegg is selling a single dimm for the same price with free ship.

Although I do not like Newegg's free memory shipping as they put ram in a padded envelope and ship it through the post office. On the last order I did (for a customer) the ram came out bent although after I got it in the slot the second time it did work.

great ram. I have 16gb of it in my desktop. no issues at all.

1x4gb is a single dimm.

Agreed. That is the same offer on Amazon. Also 2x4 kit is $45 on both newegg and amazon. The 2x2 kit is out of stock at newegg and only 2 left at amazon ~$30

Unless you fancy the 1337 gamer heatsinks that don't do much...

My vote is for the samsung ram... keep it at 1600 but tighten the timings real good. I'm still running stock everything in my sig rig so I can't personally say how far these things can go. From all the threads I have read on them they are the ram to go with for low cost no frills performance ram. and my "frills" I'm talking about the heatsinks that many ram makers have on their ram.

Holy crap, that's a nice deal. Now if only I needed to upgrade my 8GB kit from 2009 that I still use this very day...

There have even been a good many reviews that show that those "heat spreaders" I would not even call them heat sinks, do nothing and in some cases make temps worse because they have very little surface area.

Also, these sticks OC like nothing I have used before, I have 16GB in my main rig and they are running at 1600 8-8-8-20-T1 and that is at the stock 1.35v, so keep in mind that I stopped there because I have not had the time to mess with it more, that's not the clock or timing limit I have hit at that voltage. Also, since these are fine with 1.5v that's even more head room.

Yep, good point on the heat spreaders.

I wonder what 32GB of this stuff can do with timings... Rainy day project coming up soon!

Keep your eye on my thread about it soon:

These memory sticks have been the best I've bought since 2003. They take all the abuse you can throw at them. Currently running them in Cas 7. 7-7-7-24, 1T. 1.5v

Best,

LC
