3TB Seagate external usb 3.0 $99.99 FS

Also, for you hard drive experts. Is there any benefit to get the WD red drives over this (besides warranty) when being used for a ZFS nas?
 
Thanks for posting this. Costco has it the same price. I was about to order it from there but this saves me from having to make another account and I prefer Amazon anyway.

In all likelihood the price will go back up within next 24 hrs. These price drops dont last long.
 
Ahh, they went out of stock then. Costco also has the same price in-store for this month.
 
Well that's dumb. Back to $120. I'm just going to get it at Costco because Amazons pricing game is dumb.

hmm.. buy that or the Costco seagate? Tough choice, but I think I'll pay sales tax on the seagate to avoid newegg hdd packaging and peace of mind for simplistic return should the drive be defective..

I got this last year for $89.99 and will say it has been a very useful addition. Working fine to this day.
