Here is the link for the 3rd party firmware for the RT-N56U. I have been using it for a while now, and it is really nice so far. Many improvements have been made, especially dealing with HW NAT acceleration being disabled with particular configurations made. I have not a single issue so far, and have been enjoying the new fixes and features. Give it a try!
