3d Mark06 Scores and 7950

Just replaced my 560ti w/ a Gigabyte HD7950.

For giggles I did a final run on 3d Mark 06 before I uninstalled the 560ti and scored 24000.

I then installed the 7950 and scored 27400. Is this a normal result? Is 3dMark 06 even relevant anymore?

Pretty old benchmark. I would recommend you try Unigine Heaven http://unigine.com/products/heaven/download/

I like 3DMark06.

I had a GTX 560 ti 448 that was just about as good as my HD7950 in 3dMark06. Must be the drivers or the benchmark favors Nvidia GPUS.

The world record for 3dMark06 is held by an Nvidia card and it isn't a Titan....


It is a GTX680.
