32GB Amazon Fire Phone + 1-year Amazon Prime $199

Meh... It needs to be like $150 before it actually gets really interesting. This phone is essentially an overpriced price scanner with Amazon apps. No custom rom to make this into an android phone. So $50 for a phone that is better than nothing sounds about right. $100 for this piece of junk? Err, I'd get a $70 Windows Phone over this. Buying 2 years of prime is better than buying this junk + 1 year of prime. All that this phone is better than is nothing or not having a phone.
 
Such a far cry from the original launch price. I feel bad for those early adopters.
