on intel 3200c14 would likely be faster than 3600c17 although it can depend on the task
but on amd if you can get 3600 to run then due to increased memory clock speed also increasing the speed of the infinity fabric the higher speed wins out despite the higher latency

so comparing 3200c15 vs 3600c15 its obvious that the latter wins if the memory controller on the amd cpu can handle the speed

Thank you, the 3600 CL15 is samsung b-die but there are people reporting trouble with it, the mobo is supposed to support 3600 OC so this memory seems like the best bet will send a message to ASUS if they have tested it, or i might take a chance that later bios updates will solve any issues
 
it may not run over 3200 and even then you may need to relax timings
mb and bios are a big part of it but so is the cpu memory controller just like cpu overclocking some fair far better than others

the supported ram list for that mb is kinda broken at the moment nothing other than 3200+ listed and it doesnt really show if its one two or four dimms
