$30 for chrono trigger

$30 a deal? i never played it but i keep hearing it was the best snes game. i have my favs, but this one interests me.

That's pretty decent. However, if you've got a Playstation, you might as well pay the same money or less for Final Fantasy Chronicles. Then you get both Chrono Trigger and Final Fantasy IV.

Chrono Trigger has some kind of annoying load delay for the menu and at the beginning of fights, but you get the added bonus of some nice animated FMV's.

Not bad considering I paid $35 for Total Annihilation pack a year or two ago.

that is a damn rip off, i saw that game today at the SNES bin at gamestop for 5 bucks, same deal no instruction no box, just the cartridge, its in good shape too.

Thats bullshit, you must live in the boonies or something cause Gamestop charges $30 for it. I should know, I work for one. It has to be an error, either wrong tag or something cause even the lowest price point level in the company would sell it for 20-25.

That's ok, I paid $45 for a copy of xenogears, w/o box or manual, last year. I don't regret it in the least.

BTW: That along with Panzer Saga (Found in Box with Guide and in near perfect condition. $175 The only way I could buy it was to take the Saturn -not working- and 5 other games.) are the hardest games I've tried to find.

Yes, yes they do. But only for fights. It otherwise plays quite well. At the time, the Anthology's was a better price than buying Chrono Trigger on its own. As I recall, when Anthologly's did come out, it significaly reduced the resell value of an SNES cartridge of Chrono Trigger. I still wish I had one though.

I've got Chrono Trigger in the original box, with manual, and the official strategy guide. Oh yeah!
