3 sas cards on GA-F2A85X-UP4

ive tested multiple RAID cards on the GA-990fx-UD3 and UD5 and they work fine. ive also tested cards on several ECS AMD boards and MSI AMD boards. they have all always worked including the optional bios boot and everything.

i have not tested RAID cards on APU systems but i can not imagine there would be a reason that a vendor like Gigabyte would do something to break compatibility on those boards.

the ONLY vendor that has issues that i have seen is ASUS. I have never been a fan of ASUS and i really do not understand why they have the following that they do. as far back as socket 370 ASUS has always done something slightly outside of spec so that there would be sound cards that did not work, or modems or various other devices. and my experience with their support when trying to use a device that isnt directly stated as fully working by them has been crap.
