Yes you can turn off auto renewal. It's good to know the deal will end in 27 days. There really isn't any other games I wanted to play since I got it back in Jan tunic was the last game.. Hoping sum other good stuff comes out before the offer expires

so Ultimate is pretty much PC Game Pass plus all the extra Xbox stuff included?...I don't own an Xbox so the extra perks of Ultimate won't apply to me but $1 for 3 months is a good deal just for the PC features

That's an amazing deal lol I remember getting it back in Feb until April for same deal. Ended up playing halo infinite, carrion, deaths door, tunic.. Woulda cost way more to play all of those without GP!

yup I used a few $1 PC Game Pass deals over the past few years...I recently played the Guardians of the Galaxy game on Game Pass...great way to play games and see if it's worth a buy

Looks like games can fall off of Game Pass. I believe they will warn you if a game is about to get dropped and replaced with something else. So browse the current selection of games, but for $1 I am sure most people will find something.

I liked GotG...still has some bugs that need to be fixed (a few big ones)...Im not going to buy the game because I don't see myself replaying it anytime soon...nice old-school single player FPS...fans of the comics/MCU movies will appreciate the game more

no need to wait until the last second...subscribe a day or 2 before the deal expires to play it safe...it shows for me as expiring in 3 days

I signed up today for the 3 months for $1 deal...I recently did another 3 months for a 1$ deal which expired in April so I'm surprised they let me sign up again for it...there's only a few games on PC Game Pass that I'm interested in playing- Halo Infinite, Outer Worlds, Forza Horizon 5, Flight Simulator 2020, Ori and the Will of the Wisps...maybe Outriders and Wolfenstein Youngblood as well

Unlikely they let you keep doing that. Best you can probably do is let it expire and then buy a year of XBL service in some other country for cheap ($30-40), redeem with a VPN in that country. Then buy a month of Game Pass Ultimate and convert the rest of the year for free.

Does anyone know if it's possible currently for me to buy a chunk of time (e.g. 1 year), and then use the promotion to convert it to Ultimate for $1? Or am I required now to pay full price for the first month and then I'm able to get the rest converted for free? If you've been expired expired, then yes you should be able to do it. I had GPU for a year and change a couple years back after upgrading XBL Gold with the $1 deal which had expired a good while ago. Last month I bought 3x XBox Live Gold 12 month cards when Costco had them on sale, plugged them in and did the $1 upgrade - I'm good until December 2025 with GPU.

Uh... Game Pass Ultimate is both XBox and PC as well as XBox Cloud Gaming. So if you don't have an XBox, you actually DO care about Game Pass Ultimate.
