2GB USB flash drive $40 in store Fry's

I just picked up a Emprex 2GB flash drive for $39.95. It was an in store deal until 7-11-06. I'm not sure if it's just in Houston or national, but I figured I'd let everyone here know.
 
I never heard of Emprex before. How does that compare with a name brand company, such as SanDisk or Lexar? TIA.

I have no idea. It's been fine so far, but I guess I'll figure it out over the next couple of years if it lasts that long.

Cool, good luck with it. Some USB drives aren't as durable as others when they go through the rough handling of being in a keychain, getting stabbed/poke by keys, etc.
