27" monitor for 179

I have the 25'' version of this monitor, and I love it. This line uses glossy screens, which are hard to find these days.

I like how they tell you at the end what the brand is anyway

HP Pavilion 27" WLED Backlit Monitor 2711x

lol - so what is the point of debranding?

They did not debrand it. HP has a huge white box business on the side where they sell PC's without logos to other smaller PC company's who then attach their own logos and sell them as their own.

A few things to note: (If you care)
1) No VESA mount
2) External power brick
3) TN panel
4) Glossy screen

The Acer listed above does appear to have VESA mounts so if this is a deal breaker for you go with the Acer.

These are shit, fyi.

Not all of us can afford 30" Dell UltraSharps.

I bought a 27" HP LED about 1.5 years ago (same one in the links above) and it's been a pretty damn good monitor. It's thin, light, bright as hell, no dead pixels.

I got fry's to pricematch newegg and got it for 300 I think all those years ago (was a damn good deal at the time).

interesting opinion, but it runs counter to the average newegg and amazon review.

Strangely enough, the new ones are still going for $270 and above, doesn't sound right for a 1080P TN panel but whatever....
