I bought a Maxent 26" HDTV LCD from Costco in February for $700. It works great for my Xbox 360 and DVDs but is horrible as a computer monitor. I used Powerstrip and nvidia to try and get the 1366x768 resolution, but I received eye strain even after adjusting the brightness. I have concluded that this LCD HDTV is no longer what I require, and I will use Costco's great return policy to get my money back. The question is: What monitor should I buy once I get my money back from the HDTV?
I was thinking the 2405fpw or 2407fpw, as they have component for the 360 and a high resolution for general computer use. However, I know that some 20" and 21" also have component and DVI. 1920 or 1600 is really of no importance.
Any recommendations?
