Thinking of changing monitors but I don't know about the res difference.
I am looking at this monitor:

The post for this monitor says that g sync is by AMD that isn't correct is it?

My current monitor is a 2560 x 1440 27" Dell That is giving me great service. When I play a game though the text in the game is almost too small for my old eyes to read without grabbing my readers. I thought if I bought the 1920 x 1080 4K the game text would be more readable.
Also would the Razer edition be worth the extra money or is it just hype?

I could go to a larger monitor but want a curved, 4K, and G sync. Any other suggestions?

Play the game on your monitor in 1080 resolution and see how that goes.

Tried it, found it to be different than I remembered it. Maybe I am use to the 2560x1440? Funny but when I started playing the game it was in 1920 x 1080 and never thought anything of it. Text was much more readable in the 1920 res. Just that the game screen felt different and odd.
I really wanted a curved panel I could maybe go 34" and it would fit my desk. Afraid though that the game text would be totally unreadable in that res. Not sure what to do now.

1440p is a bit better but 1080p allows for hgher framerates. Also, there might be some scaling issues with 1080p locked games on 1440p displays and it will look blurry

I think QHD works really well with 27", but if you find that tiny, go to a HD (1920x1080), the pixels are larger.

4K looks awful on everything under 32" in size. I had a 27" 4K monitor, Dell UP2715Q and it looked awful, everything just so tiny.

Full HD 1080 looks marginal on 24" monitors and awful on 27", QHD (2560x1440) looks kinda of OK on 27" and 32" requires 4K.
