254's or 275's ???

I now have 252" running at the stock 2.6ghz. I am going to upgrade this week. Would you guys go with 254's or 275's dual core? The 254's run at 2.8ghz, that's dual FX57's or the 275's run at 2.2ghz but with 4 cores running at 2.2ghz? I don't know what would be the better cpus to get. :confused:

Really? Do you think that I would see a diffrence in games and ripping dvd's? I would think that the 2.8Ghz would be much faster. I want the dual dual core but I was worried that the 400-600mhz speed diffrence would be noticeable. I am going from two 2.6ghz cpus.
 
Depends alot on the applications, personally, I'd go for the higher clocked single cores myself, game support on smp systems, while starting to take off, won't be mainstream for a while yet.
 
I just purchsed a pair of 275 dual cores. I will be selling my 252's soon. Thanks.
