Welcome back DT.

Out of curiosity: do you use VSCO filters, or do you simply clip your highlights and shadows using curves?

I have used VSCO a bit when they first came out... but over the years I have developed my own 30-35 presets and just tweak them on cold rainy nights..... So I do a lot of highlights/shadow clipping with curves in LR... I also play with tones in LR.

The only real plugin I tend to use now days is OnOne Photo because I like the sharpening tool in there.

And thanks... I shot last year.. but I lurked in this forum... This year I will be more active... Hopefully I can get some of these girls in my new FJ Cruiser :p

Very nice work! I'll post something up eventually...I haven't shot anything yet this year though!

I shot these on January 2nd... so I am in the clear :p

Those look like the models from Nino's shootout. I was tempted to make a roadtrip down there for it, although at the last workshop of his that I went to, I learned way more from the editing part than the lighting/shooting part of it.

Yeah Nino is a good friend of mine.... I usually hang with him and Mark Bradley.. since he was my studio partner(Muse Studios).. who use to be studio partners with Nino..

for me it would be too much.... I have to tilt my head to the right a little...

I don't know if it's the tilt, but Leigh looks uncomfortable. Specifically the arch of her back and the set of her right foot. And is the camera perhaps too low?

There's also an optical illusion at work, but only in the preview picture - not the full-size version. If I look slightly away from the picture to one of my other monitors, the white segments between her legs - particularly the one under her right leg - seem to jump forward. Sort of like they are pieces of paper stuck over the base picture. Very wierd.

Thanks for the feedback. I did have a felling that if I had to ask, it probably was too much.:D

Ya that heels were not the most comfortable to have on, even when lying down. At first I wasn't sure if I wanted to keep/edit this shot. But her legs are just to die for, had to do it.

Nono. The proper term is "Dutch Angle".

Good to know, I actually had to look that up. :) https://vimeo.com/138044491

Bah I edited some nudes from 2015 but the thread is closed :)

I can't put any up from this year yet because they are all private paid clients.

Those rabbit ears: ugh!

Apart from that, I really like the second picture: it's the title of the book coupled with the look in her eyes that make it.

I agree, I love how he captured the look of the model, but man those rabbit ears are jarring

Very nice - in your other photo you just clip off the top curl of her hair. I'm not sure why this is in the NSFW thread either: you can see she's wearing a bra under that top.

And how do women manage with shoes like that?

I like the way you've captured her hairy arms. Combined with the look on her face that makes it sort of an anti-porn pic. The out-of-focus background is very nice too. But you've not quite got the hair on the top of her head and for me, that detracts significantly from the photo.
