That's what I did. I initiated the transfer on Saturday 8/24 and I had the RP in my LOL account yesterday morning, so it was less than 2 business days.

That is exactly the same way I did mine but still no RP in my LoL account maybe they are just swamped and I need to give it a few more business days.

Or they could have realized their mistake. Its an obvious exploit we are using and was not intended.

man, I would pay soo much RP to get the "Definitely Not Blitzcrank" skin....

I can't believe I didn't get it when I had the chance. I didn't realize it was a limited time skin.
 
Yeah wish I'd had got it too :(, at least I was able to snag the Urf warwick skin, I have never seen another single person use it. I don't know why more people don't have it, it was only 50rp when it came out, the cheapest skin ever released (I believe), but that only lasted like two days then it shot up to 5000rp.
 
I have the urf ww skin. I want grey ww, but you have to recruit 50 people. Currently contemplating whether I should get riot graves or not.
 
My amazon withdrawal cleared serve today, 11k RP in the bank. Deal is still live!

The whole process was a little over 2 weeks for me. Longest part was withdrawing $20 into my Amazon account.

Used Amazon Payments. Got my points immediately once 'deposit' went through morning business day today.

so lets see 1000rp = 3000dollars?
meh not worth it.
 
I spent over 15,000 dollars on my VISA trying to earn enough points for that 50 dollar Best Buy giftcard before I realized I was doing it the hard way.

yeah, except my math looks different:

$22 deposited, can spend on normal purchases

1% cashback with normal cc rewards, so instead of using my normal cc to get $0.22 back, I use this for a few transactions and get 12000 RP.

So,
12000 RP for $0.22 lost (opportunity cost) in credit card rewards

So that's
54545.45 RP for every $1 "spent" :p

or 1000 RP for "losing" $0.018 in cc rewards

That's my $0.02 and i'm sticking to it!

My points did show up using Amazon as DD, lol I was just not clicking on the store once I was in the launcher apparently just loggin in wont update your RP so you actually have to click on the store (at least for me).
 
Email verified, still have not gotten riot points in 12+ hours. My gf did it, got them instantly. ???
 
For people who just signed up: use paypal for direct deposit. Amazon takes too long to withdraw funds and the deposit funds.

Any stipulations on funding method on paypal or anything? Just do a straight 20+ dollar transfer from Paypal to amex? I don't see how Paypal would count as Direct Deposit this way. My card should be here today or tomorrow, and for the record I don't even want the RP as I stopped playing LOL a long time ago (no you can't have my extras, I have over 10k already from past promos etc, I've been a long, long, long time LOL member) I merely want the Teemo card to whip out at locations where it will be hilariously out of place (posh restaurants/shops especially), and when it's declined (because I'm not putting any money on it except to get the initial points) they'll think I'm another deadbeat mmo player until I whip out the VISA Signature. You gotta find fun in life wherever you can. :)

people on this thread have said straight 20+ dollar transfer from paypal to amex supposedly works. This is the same process from amazon payments to amex as well but amazon takes a full 7 business days to process stuff while paypal seems to do things in 3-5 days.

Amazon is so damn slow. Still verifying the "bank" still waiting on my bank withdrawal to be cleared to them then i get to wait for it to clear to serve. Im not sure how so many have this done already, so slooooooooow.

that's BS. I had money in amazon and I withdrew money to my amex serve card in only 2 business days.

Maybe people are having problems because they don't have money in amazon payments and have to transfer it there first.

Here's my timeline:
Signed up on 8/16
Received card and activated on 8/23
Initiated $22 withdrawal from amazon on 8/23

Funds transfer complete on early AM (before 5am) on 8/27, with RP in my LOL account that morning.

Using amazon payments did not slow the process down at all. The $22 transfer was done exactly 2 business days after I initiated a withdrawal on amazon.
 
Macker I think they're talking about the linking bank acct part of it. Amazon does seem to be slower at this than Paypal, at least from what I've read.

My card should be here in a few days. Can you outline exactly how I use paypal for the direct deposit?
